LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
Study Sprint (referred to as “Study Sprint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Study Sprint mobile application and related services (the “App”).
1. Information we handle
Study progress and saved content
The App may store information you create through its study features, such as saved study progress, session activity, preferences, and other content you choose to save. Depending on the feature, this information may be stored on your device or through a service used to operate the App.
Analytics and technical information
We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used and to improve its reliability. These tools may process information such as app interactions, session activity, device type, operating-system version, approximate location derived from an IP address, crash information, and performance diagnostics.
Advertising information
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as your IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, device information, and advertising or similar identifiers. This information may be used to deliver, measure, limit, and protect advertising, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Where required, the App will request consent before using information for personalized advertising or tracking.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain study features, save progress, understand App usage, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, display and measure advertisements, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable law.
3. Third-party services
Google AdMob and analytics providers may process information under their own privacy terms. You can review the Google Privacy Policy and learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4. Advertising choices
You may be able to limit personalized advertising through the privacy or advertising controls on your device. On Apple devices, you can manage tracking permission in Settings. Refusing tracking permission does not necessarily remove advertisements; it may result in less personalized ads.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may remove locally stored Study Sprint information by using available in-app deletion controls or deleting the App. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by Study Sprint, email smith@studies-sprint.com. Third-party providers control information they collect directly and may require you to contact them separately.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Users aged 13 and older
Study Sprint is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Additional protections may apply to teenage users depending on their location and the advertising platform’s requirements.
8. International processing
Third-party service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Information may therefore be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App changes. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App when appropriate.
